Terms & Conditions

Upon confirmation of the safari, we require a 30% deposit of the total tour cost to enable us secure the necessary reservations. In peak seasons from July, August and September 50% of the total tour cost for the client(s) is required to safeguard the reservations and gorilla permits and Accommodation. The balance should be paid 4 weeks prior to the arrival date. For bookings made one month or less before departure, we shall require the full payment of the tour costs to secure gorilla permits and accommodation depending on availability.

The payment is made by international wire transfer to the company bank account in Uganda to be provided to you upon confirmation or cash payment at our office premises. We do accept Credit cards, Travelers Cheques as means of payment. Should the client(s) cancel the booking of your holiday, you must do so in writing and all cancellations are subject to a certaincharge based on estimated losses and calculated as follows;

CANCELLATION POLICIES:

Note: Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) cancellation policy will apply for Gorilla Permits in Uganda already booked and paid for by the client(s). There will be no refund for gorilla permits, as this is a direct policy from the Uganda Wildlife authority.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
Tour price are based on all prevailing economic conditions at the time of the transfer, any significant changes beyond our will be immediately communicated to our client(s).

We reserve the right to change any of the prices, services or other particulars contained in the itineraries at any time. We also retain the right to alter or modify any prior arrangements of itinerary plan due to unforeseen circumstances like flight schedule, security matters, accommodation, bad weather or abrupt sickness of the client.

We do not accept children below the age of 15 years for Gorilla and Chimpazee Tracking.

Any money paid to the Hotel/lodge will be refunded less the cost of cancellation fee levied by Hotel/Lodge.
We take United States Dollar, note denominations and currency year 2000 and above.

All baggage and personal belongings are at all times at the passenger's own risk.

Because of the risks associated with travel like accidents, body injury, animal attack, loss of luggage, sickness and any other form of event, Across Africa Safari Tours Ltd cannot accept responsibility; BUT we can only help where necessary.

All clients are required to arrange valid and effective personal Insurance Scheme when booking your holiday. We aim at safeguarding the conservation of our environment for the benefit of the local communities and the global world, so any client(s) deemed or pronounced guilty of damaging environment where tourism is based will face legal action as per Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) laws and we have a right to refuse the client(s) from continuing the safari tour with us.
